DRESS RENTAL AND SIZING

Where are the dresses from?
Dresses are sourced internationally from designers themselves or affiliated accredited sources to ensure that all dresses are authentic.

Will I need to press the dress upon arrival?
Each dress is steamed and pressed before it is delivered to you. Rentals will be delivered in a garment box, whilst try-ons will be delivered in a garment box. Heavily beaded, delicate and embellished pieces will be lined with sheets to prevent snagging. Although we do our best to ensure your dresses arrive wrinkle-free, we cannot guarantee that the dresses arrive crease-free as there will be some movement during transportation. If the dress arrives slightly creased, you can use a garment steamer to press the dress. Ironing of our dresses are strictly not allowed. Many of our dresses are made of delicate material that cannot withstand the heat of an iron. If any damages are found to be caused, the full retail price of the dress will be charged.

Do I need to clean the dress before returning it?
Nope. Leave the dry-cleaning to us! All you need to do is re-pack the garment into the box it arrived in and let us know a day in advance what time we may pick up the garment. Please do NOT attempt to wash the dress on your own.. Any damages will be charged accordingly.

Can you alter the dress for me?
We offer temporary hemming (shortening) for most dresses, depending on material, mainly with the exception of chiffon and tulle. We also offer slight alterations to other parts of the dress such as the bust area. However we do not do alterations for dresses that are made of delicate material such as chiffon or tulle in order to preserve the state of the dress in an optimal condition. How do I pick a dress with the right fit and size?
There is an International Sizing Guide and Stylist Guide available for each dress to help you find the right fit! You may also contact our customer service via email at customercare@rentadress.com.sg or call us at 86981680 [Office Hours: Mon- Fri (11AM-6PM)] with any questions regarding sizing.

May I try on the dresses elsewhere instead of the showroom?
Yes, you may. We charge SGD10 per dress for try-ons. You may try on as many dresses at a time, for up to 24 hours before returning them, subject to their availability on your selected dates. If the dress you have selected is not available, do contact us at 86981680 [Office Hours: Mon- Fri (11AM-6PM)] or drop us an email at customercare@rentadress.com.sg and we will see what we can do about it!

What if the dress I rented does not fit?
If the dress does not fit as expected, please call to inform us and make arrangements to return the dress immediately. Our stylist will contact you to get your measurements and sizing details in order to suggest a better fitting dress.  You can either come down to our showroom during our office hours (Mon-Fri 11AM-6PM) or get a replacement dress shipped to you subjected to availability and additional shipping charges will apply for the exchange of dress.

DELIVERY AND RETURNS

How will the dress be delivered to me?
Rentals will be delivered in a garment box by our external courier service. Please be available during the delivery and pickup time slot you have selected as the delivery person will require a window period of 4 hours for pickup and delivery.

How do I return the dress to you?
After the dress is worn, please replace the dress into the garment box or bag it was delivered in. The pickup timing and address will be confirmed when the order is made. If you require a change in address for pickup do inform us at least 24 hours in advance. For Monday pickups, do inform us of any changes by Friday 6PM as we do not work on weekends.

PAYMENT

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept payment through PayPal and all major credit and debit cards. We also accept cash if bookings are made right after the showroom appointment.

When will my card be charged?
Your card will be charged when you make a reservation.In addition, if we find that you are responsible for any damages to the dress or loss of the dress, your card will be charged accordingly as well.

What are the extra charges at checkout?
Shipping: This is our delivery fee for getting our dresses to you, fast and fuss-free!

Normal shipping : $15
Same-day shipping : $25 (Only for weekdays and latest by 12 PM on Friday as we do not work on weekends)

CANCELLATION POLICY

I’ve changed my mind and would like to cancel my rental. Will I be charged for it?
We offer a full refund in form of credits in your RAD account that can be used towards your next rental in the event of cancellation. However, cancellation must be made before 48 hours prior to delivery date.

If cancellation is made within 48 hours of rental date, we will refund 50% of the rental fee in the form of credits in your RAD account that can be used towards your next rental.  

If cancellation is made within 24 hours, we will refund 20% of the rental fee in the form of credits in your RAD account that can be used towards your next rental.

ADDITIONAL CHARGES & PENALTIES

Will I be charged extra for hemming services?
If you require hemming to alter the length of the dress, an additional fee of SGD25 will be charged to cover this service. However do take note that some of the dresses have additional layers and will be more difficult to hem and hence there may be additional charges for this. We will check with the tailor and inform you beforehand before going ahead with the alterations.

What if I return my item(s) late?
A late return fee of SGD50 per day will be charged for each day the dress is not returned after the due date. If the dress is not returned after one week (seven days), a fee of 150% of the retail price and corresponding sales tax, less the rental fee and total delay fees; will be charged.

I would like to extend my rental. How much will that cost me?
If you wish to extend rental, we charge a daily fee prorated against the total rental fee of your dress. For instance, if a dress costs SGD120 to rent for our standard 4-day term, the extended rental fee will be SGD30 per day.

What happens to the dresses that are damaged?
Each dress is inspected thoroughly to ensure that it is in good condition before it is delivered to you. The dresses will be inspected again for damage upon return. During the inspection, we look out for tears, loose threading, odors, and stains. We accept minor wear and tear (eg. stains that can be removed, unnoticeable snags, loose beading & embroidery, etc.). We will charge you for any extensive and irreparable damage. If you notice any damages or stains on the dress upon delivery, do inform us within 12 hours of receiving the dress. If we are informed of any damages after 12 hours upon receiving the dress, there will be no action taken.

What if the dress is missing?
Once you have signed off on the receipt for the registered post, the dress is in your care and responsibility. You will be charged the retail cost of the dress if it is lost during this period. The responsibility for the dress passes back to the dispatch or courier service upon return of the dress during pick-up.

I would like to keep the dress. What may I do?
We do not currently allow for the sale of our dresses and garments. Late fees and a charge of 150% of the retail price will be charged upon non-return of the dress.
